Shōnai no sato is a natural hot spring family bath house @ Higashichoho, Yufu, Oita, Japan.  Japan land is truly  blessed with natural hot springs and I enjoyed the healing elements in the water here.

Monkey Mountain part 2. 
Takasakiyama Monkey Park (高崎山自然動物園, Takasakiyama Shizen Dōbutsuen) is a popular monkey reserve at the base of Mount Takasaki, a 628 meter high mountain along the coast between Beppu and Oita City. The mountain is home to some 1500 wild Japanese macaques that roam freely around its steep, forested slopes. Park visitors can get close to the monkeys as they are fed, and watch them as they run around, play or just sit in the sun and groom each other.

Mount Takasaki's monkeys are divided into two separate troops of approximately 700 to 800 individuals each, making them some of the world's largest monkey troops. The troops take turns coming down to the monkey park, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. During their stay at the park, the monkeys get fed by the wardens and spend their time playing and resting while appearing almost oblivious to the human visitors. However, although they seem tame, the monkeys should not be touched or fed, and eye contact should be avoided.

The park was opened in 1952 as both a tourist attraction and as a way to manage the local monkey population which increasingly came into conflict with the surrounding residents and farmers. As a result, the monkeys are now fed regularly by the park wardens in order to keep them off the fields and residential districts. The feedings are a popular time at the park, when the monkeys can be seen scurrying about, competing for the food. Smaller feeding are done hourly, while larger feedings are performed a few times per day.

Most visitors to the monkey park will arrive by car or bus at the large parking lot next to the Umitamago Aquarium. From there, a pedestrian bridge crosses the main road towards the monkey park whose entrance gate can be reached in a five minute walk from the parking lot. From there, it is another five minute walk uphill to the park's main area where most of the monkeys gather. It is possible to skip the latter uphill walk by taking a short monorail ride (110 yen round trip).

Monkey mountain part 1

I had such an amazing experience here at Beppu Ropeway goes up Mount Tsurumi.  I really felt the presence of God in this place. It was recommended by Buntaro’s brother and one of his friends.  I didn’t know that it was going to be hiking and shrines was involved I thought it was a ride to the top and bottom. And on the day we went it was so cloudy and cold I had on the wrong shoes and everything. But since we was there I  wanted to see everything and pray at some shrines.  While walking to the shrines we wanted to visit we decided to climb to the top of the mountain and God came through I just thought in my mind I want to see the view and the clouds opened up and God kept showing up so many times during our time on this mountain.  Even though the elements seemed not to be in our favor I was comfortable The whole time and I had an amazing experience,  I had to offer a song of praise. As we was about to leave the sun came out and God gave us another view and then it was covered by thick clouds again. 

Beppu Ropeway goes up Mount Tsurumi, with an altitude of 1,375m. Mount Tsurumi is an active volcano located east of Aso-Kuju National Park, and it's also the source of the Beppu Onsen in Beppu City, Oita.

The Beppu Ropeway is Kyushu's largest, with a capacity of 101 passengers, and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the altitude of 1,300m! Anyone can feel free to rise above Mount Tsurumi and enjoy the cherry blossoms in spring, the Miyama Kirishima flowers that are only seen in the high mountains of Kyushu, the silver frost spreading across the land in winter, and all the unique seasonal nature. Also, at top of Mount Tsurumi, which has become an object of worship, the gods of wisdom and power "Yamagami Gongen" and the Seven Lucky Gods are enshrined and visitors can also worship while enjoying nature.
